Rajani Kanta Mukherjee (born 4 November 1973) is an Indian entrepreneur and political worker associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is the founder of Neel Akash Enterprises, a water purification sales and service company based in Chandigarh.

Mukherjee currently serves as the General Secretary of Ward 21 in Chandigarh and also holds the role of Co-Convenor of Chandigarh Pravasi Bengali under the BJP organization.

Early life

Rajani Kanta Mukherjee was born in Berhampore in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, India. Raised in a modest family, he later moved to Chandigarh in 1998 seeking employment opportunities and a better future.

Through hard work and perseverance, he gradually established himself in the business community of Chandigarh.

Education

Mukherjee completed his graduation with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree.

Professional career

Banking career

In 2009, he joined the State Bank of India as a Branch Manager. During his tenure at SBI, he gained experience in banking operations and financial management.

He served at the bank until 2012 before deciding to pursue entrepreneurship.

Business career

On 13 October 2012, Mukherjee founded Neel Akash Enterprises, a company engaged in the sales and servicing of water purifiers.

Political career
