Siddharth Bharati is an Indian author, systems thinker, entrepreneur and film producer based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His work focuses on developing structured models for personal alignment and behavioural consistency, positioned as alternatives to motivation-led self-help methodologies.
He has founded multiple content-centric platforms, notably Bantagram and ScriptDuniya, which operate as digital marketplaces enabling Indian creators to engage with producers and buyers across domestic and international markets. Bharati also serves as the Managing Director of SplitMirrorPictures, a production company involved in film, television and digital media projects.
He is affiliated with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) and the Screenwriters Association (SWA).
Early life and education
Bharati pursued his undergraduate education at Acharya Narendra Dev College, a constituent college of the University of Delhi, where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany (Honours).
Subsequently, he undertook formal professional training in animation, compositing and visual effects through advanced diploma programmes, acquiring hands-on experience in animation production, VFX compositing and digital content pipelines.
Career
Early career (2007–2014)
Bharati entered the media industry through the animation and visual effects sector, initially working as an animator, background artist and cleanup artist on short-format projects and development assignments. His early professional engagements included media initiatives associated with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
From 2010 to 2013, he worked with Sony Pictures Networks India as a Creative Designer, contributing to broadcast design, channel branding and promotional campaigns for networks such as Sony Entertainment Television, Sony MAX, Sony SAB and Sony PIX. During this period, he contributed to projects linked to major properties including the Indian Premier League, Indian Idol and Kaun Banega Crorepati.
In 2014, Bharati served briefly as a Graphics Consultant with Reliance MediaWorks Ltd., supporting digital and broadcast-oriented creative initiatives.
Entrepreneurship and content production
SplitMirrorPictures
In 2015, Bharati transitioned into an expanded leadership role as Managing Director of SplitMirrorPictures. Through the company, he has overseen the production of a wide range of audio-visual content, including educational programmes, television commercials, feature films and digital series.
His production portfolio includes a VFX-based television commercial created for the Ministry of Petroleum, Government of India, which received international broadcast exposure. He has also supervised the development of more than 600 curriculum-aligned tutorials on post-production software for APTECH.
Bharati has led multi-disciplinary creative teams of over 40 professionals and has functioned as a showrunner on large-format projects, including a 330 one-take uncut commercial film initiative linked to a Guinness World Record attempt in 2021.
ScriptDuniya
In 2018, Bharati established ScriptDuniya, a digital marketplace designed to facilitate structured interactions between writers and content buyers. The platform allows creators to submit scripts across formats and genres while offering producers access to verified and categorised content.
Bantagram
In 2019, Bharati launched Bantagram, a B2B managed marketplace specialising in film and television content rights. The platform supports cross-border content transactions across languages, territories and distribution formats.
Bantagram is recognised as a DPIIT-recognised startup and has undergone incubation at STPI Guwahati and under the NASSCOM 10,000 Startups initiative. The platform received recognition at the 54th International Film Festival of India held in Goa in 2023.
Writing and systems thinking
Bharati has authored several works addressing structured personal development, including The 4 Worlds We Live In, The Art of Expression and Don’t Start With Why, Start With What. His writing emphasises system design, behavioural clarity and long-term consistency as alternatives to inspiration-driven self-help narratives.
In 2025, he introduced the Self Rebuild Challenge under the Alignment Tribe initiative. The programme is structured as a 60-day framework aimed at individuals seeking sustained behavioural change through reflection, accountability and disciplined practice.
Philosophy and approach
Bharati’s philosophy centres on the idea that enduring personal change results from clearly defined systems rather than emotional motivation.
